Leopoldo Nuxila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Sagrario having to interfere. After 13 minutes, Hermengildo Manni made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Corralito AFC's Sixto Foro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Real Academia Serengetti getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Celso Vimaro hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Robustiano Isias made a precise shot to the right of Sixto Foro. Corralito AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Zeledon Jusepe put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Sixto Foro. After 35 played minutes Corralito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Nuxila. After 37 minutes of play, Real Academia Serengetti's Hermengildo Manni made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sixto Foro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sixto Foro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Jusepe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Isias in the 42nd minute of play forced Corralito AFC's goalkeeper Sixto Foro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermengildo Manni scored 0-5 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sixto Foro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sixto Foro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Isias in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, Corralito AFC's Sixto Foro got control of the ball when Zeledon Jusepe tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 81 minutes, Marciano Quilo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Academia Serengetti and the Corralito AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Real Academia Serengetti's Marciano Quilo got a free kick in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Santos Selatse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corralito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Selatse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clodoveo Sagrario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
