When Haroldo Erasto fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored lןןl La Coconeta's protests and gave Haroldo Erasto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, lןןl La Coconeta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Erasto to maneuver through the defense. Eusebio Tibalt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Erasto in the 8th minute of the match. Nereo Mincho scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eusebio Tibalt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute, Froilan Isadore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusebio Tibalt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of Deportivo Luz y Fuerza booed when lןןl La Coconeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 41st minute, Hector Elia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusebio Tibalt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 46 minutes into the match, Edgardo Henrico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eusebio Tibalt. Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgardo Henrico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

After 51 played minutes lןןl La Coconeta got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Isadore. In the 55th minute, Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Horacio Iratze seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Horacio Iratze the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Deportivo Luz y Fuerza protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Horacio Iratze had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 56 played minutes Deportivo Luz y Fuerza got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Iratze. 58 minutes into the game, Edgardo Henrico recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eusebio Tibalt. Edgardo Henrico showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Eusebio Tibalt made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Haroldo Erasto sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Andres Jusepe got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Eusebio Tibalt acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 73rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Edgardo Henrico. In the 81st minute Froilan Isadore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebio Tibalt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebio Tibalt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Henrico in the 84th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Nereo Mincho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eusebio Tibalt. That made the score 0-7 in the 87 minute of play. Nereo Mincho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Deportivo Luz y Fuerza fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. lןןl La Coconeta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
