The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Deportivo Mukenio getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filiberto Gombal in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pascual Prejun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Deportivo Mukenio's Aquilino Prejun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Mukenio from getting a goal against them. Italia were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Deportivo Mukenio's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vicente Ruisko took the corner. The corner ended in Vicente Ruisko almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Deportivo Mukenio's Aquilino Prejun did a great save. Ernesto Paz kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Pascual Prejun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Gombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Italia's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Gombal came free, but Pascual Prejun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Mukenio's Aquilino Prejun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Nalo in the 34th minute of play. Pascual Prejun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filiberto Gombal went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Deportivo Mukenio's Maximiliano Todor in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After the first half Deportivo Mukenio were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Deportivo Mukenio's Aquilino Prejun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Txatxu in the 59th minute of play. Ciriaco Txatxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Prejun having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Hilario Bilintx mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Italia and the Deportivo Mukenio players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 played minutes Italia got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Nalo. When Vicente Ruisko came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Italia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Ruisko couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute Ciriaco Txatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Prejun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Ciriaco Txatxu sped through Deportivo Mukenio's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aquilino Prejun. After a rather tough play, Italia's Leandro Gabon got a free kick in the 84th minute. Braulio Nalo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The supporters of Italia booed when Deportivo Mukenio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Ferrer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prospero Rocio charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prospero Rocio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Deportivo Mukenio's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
