With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Frasco in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Generoso Nabar saved La Banda del Tinto from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, La Banda del Tinto's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Pirro came free, but Generoso Nabar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Azulgranas AFC's Faustino Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Azulgranas AFC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Pancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faustino Azevedo was relentless in the 41st minute of the game.
