Agustin Marchesan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Mendiko in the 8th minute of play. Candido Eztebe kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Copetonas AFC's Isidoro Virila couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for LEBRON. In a very dangerous position, a player in LEBRON fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! Ariel Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Copetonas AFC booed when LEBRON was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Eztebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Copetonas AFC's Atilano Mendiko got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Gómez in the 32nd minute of play forced Copetonas AFC's goalkeeper Alejandro Gervaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Copetonas AFC defense, Fernando Gómez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejandro Gervaso. The Copetonas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Gervaso should have stopped the shot. Alejandro Gervaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Gómez in the 34th minute of the match. Agustin Marchesan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Mendiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 43 played minutes Copetonas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Gaizko. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atilano Mendiko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Lopez in the 51st minute of play forced Copetonas AFC's goalkeeper Alejandro Gervaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, LEBRON's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Lizbeth came free, but Agustin Marchesan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agustin Marchesan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Mendiko in the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute Atilano Mendiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Marchesan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Vinicio Walme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agustin Marchesan. LEBRON's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vinicio Walme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
