After a defensive mix-up in PeLotaZo al 9's zone, Silvano Paulin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Tabby came out of the goal and Silvano Paulin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute Silvano Paulin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Tabby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasmo Tabby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Confesor in the 11th minute of the match. PeLotaZo al 9's Antonio De Oliveira suffered a concussion after 16 minutes and had to leave the field. Ildefonso Bordat's late challenge caught a PeLotaZo al 9's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ildefonso Bordat helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th match minute, Ripa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Bordat to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, PeLotaZo al 9's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Paulin came free, but Erasmo Tabby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PeLotaZo al 9's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ripa FC the free kick. After some careless play in the PeLotaZo al 9 defense, Rogelio Confesor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erasmo Tabby. The PeLotaZo al 9 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erasmo Tabby should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of PeLotaZo al 9:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ripa FC:s goal. PeLotaZo al 9:s Erasmo Tabby showed great skill when he stopped Marco Elivareo:s penalty. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albino Ayala stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. PeLotaZo al 9's Erasmo Tabby proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save PeLotaZo al 9 from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Sanchez in the 72nd minute of play forced PeLotaZo al 9's goalkeeper Erasmo Tabby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvano Paulin got free with Erasmo Tabby in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Erasmo Tabby managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Ripa FC's Silvano Paulin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rogelio Confesor kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The PeLotaZo al 9 support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
