Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clemente Ezkerra in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mark Wenerdahl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Berutti FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celedonio Lekubegi was slow to take the kick. During this time C. A. Potrero's players had a chance to rest. Justo Dunixi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edelmiro Cheche's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. C. A. Potrero's Justo Dunixi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Potrero from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes into the match, Berutti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Ubelteso came free, but Mark Wenerdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to C. A. Potrero getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Marciano Ubelteso hit a great ball. After 17 played minutes Berutti FC got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Peru. After a rather tough play, C. A. Potrero's Severo Diaz got a free kick in the 18th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Berutti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Ubelteso came free, but Mark Wenerdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edelmiro Cheche was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Fernan Eriz fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berutti FC's protests and gave Fernan Eriz a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Berutti FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Eriz. In the 28th minute Celedonio Lekubegi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Wenerdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justo Dunixi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Cheche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Camilo Uxio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Peru in the 39th minute of play forced C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper Justo Dunixi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Berutti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Ezkerra came free, but Mark Wenerdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justo Dunixi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Camilo Uxio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play.

C. A. Potrero's Clemente Ezkerra got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the C. A. Potrero defense, Timoteo Peru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justo Dunixi. The C. A. Potrero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justo Dunixi should have stopped the shot. Justo Dunixi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Cheche in the 58th minute of the match.
