Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Victoriano Teofilio took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Ciriaco Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillermo Eguen in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Ferman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Cordarrell in the 7th minute of play forced PGE FC's goalkeeper Alberto Diagur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristián Velazquez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Ferman came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristián Velazquez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. With a little luck, SAN LORENZO FC's Julio Ferman got control of the ball when Mauro Odon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 22 played minutes SAN LORENZO FC got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Marchi. Alberto Diagur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Cordarrell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Ferman came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by PGE FC's Mauro Odon. But to his dismay, Mauro Odon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Alberto Diagur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciriaco Cordarrell went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 39 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Cordarrell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Alberto Diagur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by PGE FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcelo Michael was slow to take the kick. During this time SAN LORENZO FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 44thth minute of the game Ciriaco Cordarrell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PGE FC's Alberto Diagur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the match, PGE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Cordarrell came free, but Alberto Diagur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of PGE FC booed when SAN LORENZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Diagur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Cordarrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The audience was convinced that Ciriaco Cordarrell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Diagur was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Epifanio Guillelmus kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, SAN LORENZO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Matosas to maneuver through the defense.
