Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gervasio Bieito took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Bieito in the 6th minute of play forced Stronghold S.A's goalkeeper Basilio Soter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basilio Soter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Bieito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Stronghold S.A's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Bieito came free, but Basilio Soter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amilcar Gomez in the 10th minute of play forced Club Atletico Lanus's goalkeeper Gerardo Lobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Gervasio Bieito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Lanus's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervasio Bieito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Soter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17thth minute of the game Gervasio Bieito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stronghold S.A's Basilio Soter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Lanus's Gervasio Bieito got a free kick in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Amado Mero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stronghold S.A's supporters rose to their feet, but Amado Mero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Lobo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vladimiro Heriberto hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Club Atletico Lanus's Gerardo Lobo got control of the ball when Amado Mero tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Gervasio Bieito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basilio Soter. Stronghold S.A's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gervasio Bieito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Gerardo Lobo was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Amilcar Gomez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amilcar Gomez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 41 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Lanus's goalkeeper Gerardo Lobo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Jesco. After some careless play in the Stronghold S.A defense, Gervasio Bieito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basilio Soter. The Stronghold S.A fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basilio Soter should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amilcar Gomez was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Club Atletico Lanus's Gervasio Bieito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Basilio Soter. Basilio Soter yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. 59 minutes into the match, Leandro Jesco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerardo Lobo. Club Atletico Lanus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leandro Jesco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Gerardo Lobo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amilcar Gomez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Leandro Jesco fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stronghold S.A's protests and gave Leandro Jesco a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Stronghold S.A getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Leandro Jesco hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Club Atletico Lanus's Rodrigo Eli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. The Club Atletico Lanus fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Club Atletico Lanus's Gervasio Bieito looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Stronghold S.A booed when Club Atletico Lanus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Eguerdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Jesco hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Basilio Soter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Bieito in the 83rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Stronghold S.A's zone, Rodrigo Eli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Soter came out of the goal and Rodrigo Eli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stronghold S.A's Basilio Soter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Eli in the 94th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Atletico Lanus walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
