When Arturo Fiz fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ayapaso's protests and gave Arturo Fiz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ayapaso getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Arturo Fiz hit a great ball. A collision led to San Fernando Eagles getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Daniel Abeitia hit a great ball. Casimiro Ayala kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Bernardo Matia charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Matia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ayapaso getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Bernardo Matia hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, San Fernando Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Matia came free, but Victorio Ado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 played minutes San Fernando Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Peron. The supporters of San Fernando Eagles booed when Ayapaso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Fiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ayapaso's Gavino Cristos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Eagles in the 16th minute of play. Reynaldo Juvenal was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. San Fernando Eagles's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 21st minute, Daniel Abeitia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victorio Ado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Matia in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Matia in the 23rd minute of play forced San Fernando Eagles's goalkeeper Victorio Ado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ayapaso were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after San Fernando Eagles's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicasio Ruy took the corner. Gavino Cristos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Josué Eagles's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 37thth minute of the game Ricardo Venceslao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Fernando Eagles's Victorio Ado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. San Fernando Eagles's Victorio Ado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Matia in the 43rd minute of play. Victorio Ado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Bernat in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute of the match Reynaldo Juvenal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gavino Cristos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 56 minutes, Josué Eagles made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ayapaso's Gavino Cristos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Ayapaso getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Isidoro Galeno hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Josué Eagles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Natalio Eduino fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ayapaso's protests and gave Natalio Eduino a yellow card for diving instead. Natalio Eduino kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. If Bernardo Matia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Nabar's late challenge caught a San Fernando Eagles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Nabar helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Ayapaso:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of San Fernando Eagles:s goal. Gavino Cristos had in the 73rdth minute some difficulties stopping Josué Eagles's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 76th minute Bernardo Matia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Ado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Cristos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué Eagles, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. A collision led to Ayapaso getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Efrain Itzaina hit a great ball. In the 95thth minute of the game Bernardo Matia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Fernando Eagles's Victorio Ado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Samuel Nabar in the 97th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by San Fernando Eagles's Ignacio Baumer. There was no doubt that San Fernando Eagles were the better team. San Fernando Eagles's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
