Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Eugenio Nesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Jakobe in the 33rd minute of play. Gencal Özpinar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Paşa in the 36th minute of the match. If Leonel Libertad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arturo Lopez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gencal Özpinar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Lopez in the 51st minute of play. Gencal Özpinar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Paşa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Gilberto Jakobe dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eugenio Nesto, 1-1. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Gilberto Jakobe took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Eugenio Nesto to make any attempt to save it. 62 minutes into the match, Gilberto Jakobe dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eugenio Nesto, 1-3. Tabossi's Matias Corderall was substituted for Elvio Benitez. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene made a substitution. Gabriel Victoro replaced Ahmet Paşa. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ezequiel Lluques was substituted for Brahim Boutabout. 67 minutes into the game, Nicasio Eladio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Leonel Libertad quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some careless play in the Tabossi defense, Gabriel Victoro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gencal Özpinar. The Tabossi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gencal Özpinar should have stopped the shot. Gencal Özpinar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Beltrame, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Gencal Özpinar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Victoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tabossi booed when Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Pomelin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matías Kranevitter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tabossi's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
