Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Bulldog 07's Romulo Bartoleme started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Severino Malvin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Salvadore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Erasmo Chorache's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vinicio Salvadore was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Hipolito Nabar might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vinicio Salvadore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hipolito Nabar ran back to his position shaking his head. Vinicio Salvadore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Nabar in the 9th minute of the match. Placido Jaunzuria made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Romulo Bartoleme sent off a good shot on target. Hipolito Nabar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Celedonio Quiroga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Bulldog 07 booed when Ilulea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Turner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilulea FC's Placido Jaunzuria proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Ilulea FC from getting a goal against them. Vinicio Salvadore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Nabar, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Guille Cantero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severino Malvin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romulo Bartoleme came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Placido Jaunzuria could save by the left post. In the 39th minute, Severino Malvin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ilulea FC's Hipolito Nabar got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Romulo Bartoleme fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bulldog 07's protests and gave Romulo Bartoleme a yellow card for diving instead. Placido Jaunzuria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Bartoleme in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Bartoleme in the 58th minute of play forced Ilulea FC's goalkeeper Placido Jaunzuria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Severino Malvin came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Ilulea FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Malvin couldn't finish the play. After 61 played minutes Ilulea FC got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Bonadona. After 63 minutes, Cristobal Torres made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ilulea FC's Placido Jaunzuria tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 67th minute, Tiburcio Rius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Placido Jaunzuria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bulldog 07's Celedonio Quiroga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Placido Jaunzuria in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 70 minutes, Fausto Astigar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bulldog 07 and the Ilulea FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Bulldog 07 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Astigar to maneuver through the defense. Vinicio Salvadore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Malvin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute Tiburcio Rius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Jaunzuria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hipolito Nabar kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Andy Turner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tiburcio Rius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Severino Malvin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bulldog 07 were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Ilulea FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Celedonio Quiroga took the corner. The corner ended in Celedonio Quiroga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ilulea FC's Placido Jaunzuria did a great save. Placido Jaunzuria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Quiroga in the 85th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Bulldog 07's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Malvin came free, but Vinicio Salvadore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilulea FC's Placido Jaunzuria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Rius in the 94th minute of play.
