Programayin's Lorien Vilela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Programayin from getting a goal against them. 9 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Michael Owen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lorien Vilela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 15 played minutes Programayin got a freekick which was hit by Jaume Alderete. Lorien Vilela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyrus Velasco in the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyrus Velasco in the 17th minute of play forced Programayin's goalkeeper Lorien Vilela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Programayin's Lorien Vilela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Owen in the 19th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Cyrus Velasco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Programayin's Lorien Vilela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hilario Slaughter hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Jaume Alderete's late challenge caught a Qikiqtarjuaq FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaume Alderete helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Programayin's Jaume Alderete got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Lorien Vilela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michael Owen in the 25th minute. A collision led to Programayin getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Generosb Bullan hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the game, Michael Owen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lorien Vilela. Michael Owen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Denver Grimes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valiente Gascon's late challenge caught a Qikiqtarjuaq FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valiente Gascon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, Valiente Gascon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cyrus Velasco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lorien Vilela having to make a save. In the 43rd minute, Renaldo Battle sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Programayin's Lorien Vilela didn't even have to move.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olando Liendo to strike the kick off in the second half. Olando Liendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cyrus Velasco scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lorien Vilela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 59th minute Michael Owen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorien Vilela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute Cyrus Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorien Vilela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Renaldo Battle in the 63rd minute. If Nazaire Shepard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorien Vilela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Owen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 71 minutes, Cyrus Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyrus Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lorien Vilela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Owen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jason Achin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter-Adrián Colmenares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cyrus Velasco struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Lorien Vilela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Qikiqtarjuaq FC. Qikiqtarjuaq FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
