Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Otsoko Queipo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Froylan Chagavia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cugat Abechuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After 8 minutes, Eustaquio Abendano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nacional Potosí and the Atletico Aragua FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Nacional Potosí getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Eustaquio Abendano hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Atletico Aragua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cugat Abechuco came free, but Froylan Chagavia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otsoko Queipo during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Otsoko Queipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valery Abecia came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Aragua FC's Lugo Rodil. But to his dismay, Lugo Rodil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Lugo Rodil came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Atletico Aragua FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lugo Rodil couldn't finish the play. Gaudencio Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Gaudencio Xavier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valery Abecia having to make a save. Lugo Rodil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atletico Aragua FC's Aureliano Marchamalo pulled a muscle in his back after 42 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Quinto Abajas fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nacional Potosí's protests and gave Quinto Abajas a yellow card for diving instead. Quinto Abajas kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half Atletico Aragua FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustaquio Abendano was the one to do the kick off. Cresitobalo Abarca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froylan Chagavia having to interfere. Quinto Abajas kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustaquio Abendano in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Froylan Chagavia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xabier Escolar charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 70thth minute of the game Eustaquio Abendano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Aragua FC's Froylan Chagavia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Nacional Potosí fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Nacional Potosí's Eustaquio Abendano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Quinto Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froylan Chagavia having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Nacional Potosí's goalkeeper Valery Abecia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaudencio Xavier. In the 81st match minute, Nacional Potosí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cresitobalo Abarca to maneuver through the defense. Valery Abecia made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Lugo Rodil sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nacional Potosí's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Otsoko Queipo was slow to take the kick. During this time Atletico Aragua FC's players had a chance to rest. Froylan Chagavia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cugat Abechuco in the 89th minute of the match. Nacional Potosí's Cugat Abechuco got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
