Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Silvio Morelo made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Eustacio Urtiaga sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustacio Urtiaga in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvio Morelo saved Liga de Quito from getting behind. Eustacio Urtiaga in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Silvio Morelo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 9th minute, Xaver Pidrola reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Silvio Morelo. The goal made the score 1-0. San Lorenzo's Esteban Tosantos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zilar Barcena in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vennancio Albarez in the 21st minute of play forced Liga de Quito's goalkeeper Silvio Morelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Liga de Quito getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Denis Udrişte hit a great ball. Liga de Quito's Silvio Morelo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Liga de Quito from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo's zone, Denis Udrişte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Tosantos came out of the goal and Denis Udrişte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when Liga de Quito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Ayllon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amador Elicegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Vennancio Albarez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvio Morelo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denis Udrişte made a kick off. After 51 minutes of play, San Lorenzo's Vennancio Albarez made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvio Morelo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silvio Morelo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xaver Pidrola's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 59th minute, Amador Elicegui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvio Morelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Urtiaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Vennancio Albarez might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvio Morelo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vennancio Albarez ran back to his position shaking his head. Eustacio Urtiaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Silvio Morelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Vennancio Albarez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Lorenzo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. If Lando Agustino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustacio Urtiaga in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silvio Morelo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silvio Morelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Urtiaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Lando Agustino. Silvio Morelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Urtiaga in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Liga de Quito's zone, Vennancio Albarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Morelo came out of the goal and Vennancio Albarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the match, Eustacio Urtiaga notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Liga de Quito's Silvio Morelo. Silvio Morelo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zilar Barcena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Tosantos having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Eustacio Urtiaga made a precise shot to the right of Silvio Morelo. Liga de Quito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. San Lorenzo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
