Ramiro Stover didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jose Couch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommie Horne during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Real Madrid de America booed when Los Gordos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommie Horne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jayson Slaughter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geoff Hurst in the 15th minute. If Geoff Hurst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jayson Slaughter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Couch in the 21st minute of play. Jayson Slaughter made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Geoff Hurst sent off a good shot on target. Owen Cabourne kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Real Madrid de America got a freekick which was hit by Jose Couch. In the 30th match minute, Los Gordos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domenic Biggs to maneuver through the defense. When Brandon Walton fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Gordos's protests and gave Brandon Walton a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los Gordos! In the 38th minute, Real Madrid de America got a penalty, and Ramiro Stover placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Geoff Hurst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domenic Biggs to strike the kick off in the second half. Geoff Hurst scored 2-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jayson Slaughter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jayson Slaughter went to the wrong direction when Ramiro Stover was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Jose Couch notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Los Gordos's Jayson Slaughter. Jayson Slaughter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jayson Slaughter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pete Battle in the 76th minute of play. After some careless play in the Los Gordos defense, Geoff Hurst kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jayson Slaughter. The Los Gordos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jayson Slaughter should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute, Tommie Horne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Couch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jayson Slaughter having to interfere. A collision led to Los Gordos getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Tommie Horne hit a great ball. Real Madrid de America were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Los Gordos for a fine match.
