Los Gordos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Carpasús FC - FDC's Beat Intriago got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Evis Carmenes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jayson Slaughter. Los Gordos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evis Carmenes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Tommie Horne's late challenge caught a Carpasús FC - FDC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommie Horne helped the player get up and apologised. Tommie Horne kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Evis Carmenes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jayson Slaughter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the match, Carpasús FC - FDC's Gero Urrea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jayson Slaughter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evis Carmenes in the 33rd minute of play forced Los Gordos's goalkeeper Jayson Slaughter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evis Carmenes scored 0-4 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jayson Slaughter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jayson Slaughter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evis Carmenes in the 42nd minute of the match. Beat Intriago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jayson Slaughter having to interfere. After the first half Carpasús FC - FDC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Domenic Biggs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Kevin Mier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 56 played minutes Los Gordos got a freekick which was hit by Houston Dupree. The crowd rose to their feet as Carpasús FC - FDC's Evis Carmenes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jayson Slaughter. That made the score 0-5 after 57 minutes of play. Jayson Slaughter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Ernesto Isern charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto Isern the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Carpasús FC - FDC fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Carpasús FC - FDC's Evis Carmenes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
