The referee showed Lorenzo Rosen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ronald Magaña might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luis Swain. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronald Magaña ran back to his position shaking his head. Luis Swain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Berrueta in the 27th minute of play. Luis Swain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Berrueta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. S.D. Bajen's Luis Swain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Zaldaña in the 44th minute of play. 1-1 became the score in the 47th minute when Elias Berrueta elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

53 minutes into the game, Shaun Cobb was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.D. Bajen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ★ Lobos FC ★ the free kick. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Shaun Cobb got a free kick in the 53rd minute. ★ Lobos FC ★'s Yasir Meza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blair Lusk in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Luis Swain had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erick Santamaria. Shaun Cobb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Yasir Meza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Swain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Berrueta, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Lara during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hector Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. S.D. Bajen's Pete Maxwell was substituted for Troy Cabourne. Hector Lara hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match.
