When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Asensio Mendoza sped through Slower Lower FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jacob Scruggs. After having played for 16 minutes, Asensio Mendoza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taltum FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Asensio Mendoza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Asensio Mendoza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Jacob Scruggs skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 20 minutes, Camilo Barriobero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taltum FC and the Slower Lower FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Titus Silva to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asensio Mendoza in the 54th minute of play forced Slower Lower FC's goalkeeper Jacob Scruggs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91stth minute of the game Asensio Mendoza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Slower Lower FC's Jacob Scruggs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 92 played minutes Slower Lower FC got a freekick which was hit by Doug Geiger. Jacob Scruggs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asensio Mendoza, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Asensio Mendoza in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacob Scruggs saved Slower Lower FC from getting behind. Taltum FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
