After 13 minutes, Adriel Ondegardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mariachi FC and the WAL Family United Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Gaspar Viguri came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the WAL Family United Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspar Viguri couldn't finish the play. After 15 played minutes Mariachi FC got a freekick which was hit by Oliverio Enríquez. After 18 minutes of play, Mariachi FC's Mercé Word made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lopes Rosell was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the game, Jose Esteban Noti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mariachi FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave WAL Family United Team the free kick. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fanuco Miro to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Mariachi FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Eduard Bacarreza hit a great ball. WAL Family United Team's Raul Errasti pulled a muscle in his back after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. WAL Family United Team's Lopes Rosell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save WAL Family United Team from getting a goal against them. If Edgardo Ayarza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
