Inter de Chillán's José Ignacio Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nabar Hinojos in the 6th minute of play. Arnaldo Detmer hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper José Ignacio Rocha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. José Ignacio Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Estevao Caro in the 12th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Inter de Chillán defense, Nabar Hinojos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Ignacio Rocha. The Inter de Chillán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Ignacio Rocha should have stopped the shot. 17 minutes into the match, BINGO FUEL's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Valdivia came free, but Videl Berraondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Ignacio Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xepe Collantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The corner led BINGO FUEL's Estevao Caro to fire away a dangerous shot which José Ignacio Rocha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Estevao Caro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Ignacio Rocha. Inter de Chillán's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Estevao Caro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estevao Caro in the 31st minute of play forced Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper José Ignacio Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of BINGO FUEL booed when Inter de Chillán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lothar Matthæus didn't get a good kick on the ball. BINGO FUEL's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
