GUAYACO's Xiao Gaztelumendi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bart Villanueva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bart Villanueva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfaro Moreno in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to El Canalla de Chicago getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Kevin Roark hit a great ball. Bart Villanueva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xiao Gaztelumendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Rudolf Pendleton struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Oso Amezaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Canalla de Chicago. Bart Villanueva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfaro Moreno in the 33rd minute of the match. After 33 minutes, Alfaro Moreno made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. El Canalla de Chicago's Bart Villanueva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute, Rudolf Pendleton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The El Canalla de Chicago players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.A. GUAYACO were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfaro Moreno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rudolf Pendleton in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oso Amezaga saved C.A. GUAYACO from getting behind. Kevin Roark hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. El Canalla de Chicago made a substitution. Emmanuel Akers replaced Lazaro Ragsdale. A collision led to El Canalla de Chicago getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Kevin Roark hit a great ball. The supporters of C.A. GUAYACO booed when El Canalla de Chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Tuttle didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Canalla de Chicago made a substitution. Monty Stout replaced Martin Tuttle. GUAYACO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oso Amezaga should have stopped the shot. C.A. GUAYACO's Kléber Goyanes was substituted for Agustin Pillado. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rudolf Pendleton in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oso Amezaga saved C.A. GUAYACO from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xiao Gaztelumendi in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bart Villanueva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rudolf Pendleton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oso Amezaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Stout in the 89th minute of play. When Rudolf Pendleton came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the El Canalla de Chicago fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudolf Pendleton couldn't finish the play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
