Brendan Mckinnes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zīn ud-Dīn Bahari, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dida Djebbour in the 68th minute of play forced Boroondara Milan's goalkeeper Brendan Mckinnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brendan Mckinnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mimoun Djamel in the 70th minute of play. Dida Djebbour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Brendan Mckinnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, FC TOKIO's Mimoun Djamel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brendan Mckinnes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. FC TOKIO were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Boroondara Milan to leave the ground with a draw.
