The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Niclas Bern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valter Wästerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernst Söderqvist during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Råda BK's Ernst Söderqvist got a free kick in the 5th minute. Herman Emander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Valter Wästerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Åke Biörnberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Råda BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Valter Wästerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herman Emander in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Råda BK's goalkeeper Valter Wästerberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rickard Smed. Herman Emander struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Valter Wästerberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Solskin. Tommy Ståhlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Biörnberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Patrick Tinglöf made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Ståhlberg. Solskin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 32 minutes into the game, Råda BK's Kristoffer Hjälm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Ståhlberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Solskin's Sven Aleberg got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Per Västerberg came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Solskin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per Västerberg couldn't finish the play. If Rickard Smed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Solskin players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Råda BK were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joseph Vallman was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Solskin got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Smed. Ernst Söderqvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Ståhlberg. Solskin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Per Västerberg fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Solskin's protests and gave Per Västerberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Per Västerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Solskin getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Hubert Berglund hit a great ball. With a little luck, Solskin's Tommy Ståhlberg got control of the ball when Joseph Vallman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sven Aleberg kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Tommy Ståhlberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrick Tinglöf in the 78th minute.
