Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Sebastian Qvarnström made the kick off and thus started the match. When Jens-Ove Olsmann came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Elefanterna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens-Ove Olsmann couldn't finish the play. 7 minutes into the match, Göta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arman Siggesson came free, but Staffan Alin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 9 minutes, Arman Siggesson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elefanterna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arman Siggesson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Göta FC's Staffan Alin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Stenqvist in the 11th minute of play. Gustav Offendahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Karlstedt having to interfere. When Filip Benet fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elefanterna's protests and gave Filip Benet a yellow card for diving instead. Filip Benet hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Staffan Alin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Olsmann in the 21st minute of play. Staffan Alin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ove Olsmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arman Siggesson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Staffan Alin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 29 minutes, Jens-Ove Olsmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elefanterna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Ove Olsmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Arman Siggesson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Göta FC's Staffan Alin. Staffan Alin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Staffan Alin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Ove Olsmann in the 34th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Harry Stenqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eric Karlstedt made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Sebastian Qvarnström sent off a good shot on target. Staffan Alin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arman Siggesson went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The Göta FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Elefanterna were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Arman Siggesson made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Arman Siggesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staffan Alin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Elefanterna booed when Göta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fritz Utter didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Sebastian Qvarnström notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Elefanterna's Eric Karlstedt. Eric Karlstedt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Göta FC booed when Elefanterna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristoffer Ström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Staffan Alin made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Jens-Ove Olsmann sent off a good shot on target. Bernt Ahlkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Göta FC got a freekick which was hit by Kennet Clementsson. Jens-Ove Olsmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Staffan Alin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harry Stenqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staffan Alin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Göta FC's zone, Harry Stenqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Staffan Alin came out of the goal and Harry Stenqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eric Karlstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Qvarnström in the 78th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Lars-Erik Hamberg put in a rough tackle. Harry Stenqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staffan Alin having to interfere. With a little luck, Göta FC's Staffan Alin got control of the ball when Jens-Ove Olsmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eric Karlstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Qvarnström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elefanterna played a much better game than Göta FC and deserved their victory. The Göta FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
