Fredrik Strömberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Daniel Tolsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kristian Jernberg came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Fårdala FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kristian Jernberg couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute, Carl Åström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Krister Uggla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The supporters of Höglunda IK booed when Fårdala FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torbjörn Runberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lars-Erik Snäll hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Jan Häger made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Robert Östman sent off a good shot on target. Robert Östman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jan Häger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Höglunda IK's Jan Häger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Höglunda IK from getting a goal against them. In the 71st minute, Fårdala FF's Kristian Jernberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jan Häger. Jan Häger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. 78 minutes into the game, Boris Fagerberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fårdala FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Höglunda IK the free kick. A collision led to Fårdala FF getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Boris Fagerberg hit a great ball. Höglunda IK's Jan Häger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Höglunda IK from getting a goal against them. After having played for 89 minutes, Kristian Jernberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fårdala FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristian Jernberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andréas Sjöberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Jan Häger made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Agne Harman could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Jan Häger however easily saved by the left post. Andréas Sjöberg struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Jan Häger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fårdala FF. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fårdala FF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
