Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kasper Mellin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jan Häger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helge Brun, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pål Ödman during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, Pål Ödman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan Häger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Helge Brun's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute, Ture Tunström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Höglunda IK's Jan Häger didn't even have to move. Tor Markussons short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Jan Häger to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jan Häger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Brun in the 16th minute of play. George Flink hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Daniel Tolsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karl-Erik Västlund. Grytöl's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Grytöl's goal looked a bit too open when Lars-Erik Snäll came free, but Karl-Erik Västlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Tor Markusson made a precise shot to the right of Jan Häger. Höglunda IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 39 played minutes Höglunda IK got a freekick which was hit by Carl Åström. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Tor Markusson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grytöl's supporters rose to their feet, but Tor Markusson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Häger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kaj Strömberg took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Häger. Jan Häger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tor Markusson was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars-Erik Snäll in the 59th minute of play forced Grytöl's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Västlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kasper Mellin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Karl-Erik Västlund firmly grabbed it by the left post. Karl-Erik Västlund was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Lars-Erik Snäll capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lars-Erik Snäll really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 64th minute Helge Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Häger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Askestät's late challenge caught a Höglunda IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leo Askestät helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Grytöl getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Leo Askestät hit a great ball. Grytöl's Karl-Erik Västlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars-Erik Snäll in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Grytöl booed when Höglunda IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Johnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Häger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tor Markusson in the 77th minute of the match. After 87 minutes of play, Grytöl's Helge Brun made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan Häger was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Tor Markusson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grytöl's supporters rose to their feet, but Tor Markusson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Häger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Grytöl had won after a very even match.
