Greger Byström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fårdala FF. Greger Byström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Östman in the 12th minute of the match. Fårdala FF's Morgan Vallengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Lindgren in the 15th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arne Lindgren got free with Morgan Vallengren in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andréas Sjöberg kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. George Ström's late challenge caught a Fårdala FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. George Ström helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Sjötorp IF got a freekick which was hit by Kenny Asserlindh. A collision led to Sjötorp IF getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Arne Lindgren hit a great ball. Greger Byström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Östman in the 37th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sjötorp IF defense, Kristian Jernberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Greger Byström. The Sjötorp IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Greger Byström should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Sjötorp IF getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Arne Lindgren hit a great ball. The Sjötorp IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fårdala FF were winning 0-1.

Gösta Gregersson charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gösta Gregersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Gregersson in the 59th minute of play forced Fårdala FF's goalkeeper Morgan Vallengren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Greger Byström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Östman, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, Fårdala FF's Andréas Sjöberg got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 66 minutes of play, Fårdala FF's Robert Östman made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Greger Byström was left in no man's land by his defense there! 73 minutes into the match, Sjötorp IF's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Östman came free, but Greger Byström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 75th minute of the match Gösta Gregersson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gösta Gregersson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 75 played minutes Sjötorp IF got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Gregersson. Greger Byström made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Robert Östman sent off a good shot on target. The long shot by Vincent Kjellqvist in the 87th minute really tested Greger Byström's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 88th match minute, Sjötorp IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Ekrot to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Sjötorp IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Andréas Sjöberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fårdala FF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
