Åhus Absolut F.C were furious when Abbe Alvin was red carded, 6 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Åhus Absolut F.C's Abbe Alvin got a free kick in the 6th minute. Alvar Thorsberg made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Nils Bokelund sent off a good shot on target. In the 8th minute, André Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oskar Broberg kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Per-Olof Bengtsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Åhus Absolut F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Krister Andberg came free, but Alvar Thorsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 played minutes Åhus Absolut F.C got a freekick which was hit by André Berg. 18 minutes into the match, Åhus Absolut F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Viggo Ekblom came free, but Alvar Thorsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kjell-Arne Björkqvist during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes FC Bodil United got a freekick which was hit by Kjell-Arne Björkqvist. Alvar Thorsberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viggo Ekblom went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 30 played minutes, Åhus Absolut F.C's André Berg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Torgny Fastesson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Åhus Absolut F.C reached it. In the 31st match minute, FC Bodil United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krister Andberg to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, FC Bodil United's goal looked a bit too open when André Berg came free, but Torgny Fastesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute of the match Åhus Absolut F.C got a corner. FC Bodil United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. André Berg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Åhus Absolut F.C's André Berg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Torgny Fastesson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 36th minute, Anders Nilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Bodil United's Anders Nilsson got a free kick in the 41st minute. Gert Barck charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gert Barck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Åhus Absolut F.C booed when FC Bodil United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gert Barck didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell King Skott to make the kick off. When Kjell-Arne Björkqvist came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the FC Bodil United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kjell-Arne Björkqvist couldn't finish the play. Alvar Thorsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krister Andberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Rolf Beckeman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Viggo Ekblom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvar Thorsberg was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 65th minute Krister Andberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvar Thorsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Bodil United's Torgny Fastesson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save FC Bodil United from getting a goal against them. Torgny Fastesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Klint in the 73rd minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Viggo Ekblom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Bodil United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åhus Absolut F.C the free kick. Åhus Absolut F.C made a substitution. Arne Nord replaced Oskar Broberg. Viggo Ekblom kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Alvar Thorsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell-Arne Björkqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvar Thorsberg came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bodil United's Bo Bergström. But to his dismay, Bo Bergström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to FC Bodil United getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Bo Bergström hit a great ball. Rolf Beckeman kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Åhus Absolut F.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
