In the 2nd match minute, Fågelmara IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiph Forssberg to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Gadd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Ekelund, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 5th minute, Adrian Skålberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the game, Fågelmara IK's Sven-Olof Soned nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgar Gadd made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Djurgården United's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Olof Soned came free, but Edgar Gadd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Djurgården United getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Alex Olofsson hit a great ball. Edgar Gadd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Olof Soned, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Gadd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Ekelund in the 19th minute of the match. Olov Lilja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Olofsson in the 21st minute of play. Stig Sefastsson kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of Djurgården United booed when Fågelmara IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Michael Lenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Sven-Olof Soned made a precise shot to the right of Edgar Gadd. Djurgården United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, Sven-Olof Soned had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Gadd. Djurgården United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Olof Soned was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 36th minute Karl-Michael Lenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Gadd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Djurgården United's Edgar Gadd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Ekelund in the 37th minute of play. Urban Ekenberg lost his temper 38 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a defensive mix-up in Djurgården United's zone, Erland Hult stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Gadd came out of the goal and Erland Hult tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Torsten Beckeman during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fågelmara IK booed when Djurgården United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsten Beckeman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Ekelund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Torsten Beckeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Djurgården United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fågelmara IK were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrian Ekelund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Djurgården United's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Ekelund came free, but Edgar Gadd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erland Hult received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edgar Gadd came out and tried to block the shot, but Erland Hult slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 55th minute. If Karl-Michael Lenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 minutes, Gustaf Holmgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fågelmara IK and the Djurgården United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gustaf Holmgren hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Gustaf Holmgren got his second yellow card in the match during the 68th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Fågelmara IK's Gustaf Holmgren got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 69th match minute, Fågelmara IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Olof Soned to maneuver through the defense. If Torsten Beckeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wictor Backman kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Karl-Ove Kullgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Edgar Gadd made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Erland Hult managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fågelmara IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Erland Hult was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Gadd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alex Olofsson struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Olov Lilja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Djurgården United. Fågelmara IK played a much better game than Djurgården United and deserved their victory. The Djurgården United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
