The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Egon Pihlwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Näfver in the 12th minute of play. Kevin Näfver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Egon Pihlwall made a huge save. After 16 played minutes SJÖARED got a freekick which was hit by Jack Lundgren. If Emil Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th match minute, The Northmen Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Söderström to maneuver through the defense. Jon Rudqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Bäckström having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, The Northmen Army's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Fastesson came free, but Robin Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egon Pihlwall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Näfver, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Kevin Näfver kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. SJÖARED's Egon Pihlwall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save SJÖARED from getting a goal against them. Egon Pihlwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Näfver in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to SJÖARED getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Filiph Lööf hit a great ball. Emil Hermansson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Egon Pihlwall. SJÖARED's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Jon Rudqvist came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the SJÖARED fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jon Rudqvist couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevin Näfver in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egon Pihlwall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vykan Stolpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Bäckström having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kevin Näfver's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egon Pihlwall was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. A collision led to The Northmen Army getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Sebastian Wacherhausen hit a great ball. Patrik Wacherhausen charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrik Wacherhausen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, The Northmen Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Wacherhausen to maneuver through the defense. Egon Pihlwall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Näfver in the 46th minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jon Rudqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Allan Fastesson got free with Robin Bäckström in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vilhelm Vallander charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vilhelm Vallander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Näfver in the 70th minute of play forced SJÖARED's goalkeeper Egon Pihlwall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SJÖARED's zone, Patrik Wacherhausen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egon Pihlwall came out of the goal and Patrik Wacherhausen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SJÖARED's Karl-Erik Lingren shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 77th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Robin Bäckström but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Näfver in the 81st minute of play forced SJÖARED's goalkeeper Egon Pihlwall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
