Florin Pacurar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Grozuță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 5 minutes of play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Cosmin Bobeica made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florin Pacurar was left in no man's land by his defense there! 8 minutes into the game, Dudu Georgescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Florin Pacurar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cezar Bărnuțiu scored 0-3 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florin Pacurar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 15 minutes, Cosmin Bobeica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minerul Baita -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosmin Bobeica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Dudu Georgescu put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Florin Pacurar. Dudu Georgescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Georgescu in the 28th minute of play forced Ponita SC's goalkeeper Florin Pacurar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Dudu Georgescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florin Pacurar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. In the 38th minute, Fabian Grozuță ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florin Pacurar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Horia Doloman hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Cezar Bărnuțiu scored 0-10 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florin Pacurar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-10 lead.

Minerul Baita -MM-'s Dudu Georgescu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 52nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a little luck, Ponita SC's Florin Pacurar got control of the ball when Cezar Bărnuțiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th match minute, Minerul Baita -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nechifor Lăcătușu to maneuver through the defense. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Nicolae Mandache was substituted for Cosmin Bobeica. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Gică Aldulescu was substituted for Mugur Hurmuzache. Nechifor Lăcătușu hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Ferdinand Silişteanu charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdinand Silişteanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes Ponita SC got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Silişteanu. Florin Pacurar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cezar Bărnuțiu in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute, Eduard Pârlog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ponita SC's zone, Nicolae Mandache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florin Pacurar came out of the goal and Nicolae Mandache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, Fabian Grozuță dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Florin Pacurar, 0-12. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolae Mandache got free with Florin Pacurar in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolae Mandache in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florin Pacurar saved Ponita SC from getting behind. Florin Pacurar was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Dudu Georgescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dudu Georgescu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-14. Cezar Bărnuțiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Florin Pacurar made a huge save. Florin Pacurar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dudu Georgescu in the 87th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Florin Pacurar threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cezar Bărnuțiu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Ferdinand Silişteanu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. In the 91st minute, Alin Dănănae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Nicolae Mandache ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florin Pacurar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-15. Minerul Baita -MM-'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
