Przemyslaw Pysz made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Cyprian Grajewski sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to KS Ruch Chorzów getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Zbigniew Dombroski hit a great ball. The KS Ruch Chorzów fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when KS Ruch Chorzów's Cyprian Grajewski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, KS Ruch Chorzów's Zbigniew Dombroski got a free kick in the 15th minute. The supporters of KS Ruch Chorzów booed when LuKo Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartosz Bronder didn't get a good kick on the ball. The KS Ruch Chorzów fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when KS Ruch Chorzów's Cyprian Grajewski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After 30 minutes of play, KS Ruch Chorzów's Cyprian Grajewski made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Przemyslaw Pysz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eugeniusz Kostka was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 34th minute. KS Ruch Chorzów's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Przemyslaw Pysz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyprian Grajewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Przemyslaw Pysz stood somewhat misplaced when Cyprian Grajewski came free in front of goal and shot 4-1 to the left of him in the 36 minute. Przemyslaw Pysz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eugeniusz Kostka. Przemyslaw Pysz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyprian Grajewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulryk Gibowski during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Cyprian Grajewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Ruch Chorzów's supporters rose to their feet, but Cyprian Grajewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Przemyslaw Pysz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cyprian Grajewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The KS Ruch Chorzów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Rafal Poniewaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Przemyslaw Pysz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Cyprian Grajewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Przemyslaw Pysz was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. KS Ruch Chorzów's Cyprian Grajewski got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that KS Ruch Chorzów were the better team. KS Ruch Chorzów's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
