In the 6th minute Gideon Weber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Günther Heiß saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugen Boedefeld got free with Günther Heiß in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ralph Klüpfel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Günther Heiß made a huge save. In the 15th match minute, FC Traktor Götz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karsten Brandes to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SV Bad Harzburg booed when FC Traktor Götz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knut Schnaars didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gideon Weber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Günther Heiß tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ralph Klüpfel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Günther Heiß made a huge save. In the 24th match minute, FC Traktor Götz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simeon Keute to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Gideon Weber reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Günther Heiß. The goal made the score 2-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Traktor Götz fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! Klaus Vielhaus shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 37 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Pietsch came free, but Tim Wiese reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th match minute, SV Bad Harzburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Boedefeld to maneuver through the defense. Günther Heiß made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gideon Weber in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, SV Bad Harzburg's Rocky Balboa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 45th minute, Gideon Weber ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Günther Heiß was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Juan Pietsch charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Pietsch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Juan Pietsch hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Tim Wiese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Pietsch in the 55th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Karsten Brandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Günther Heiß showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralph Klüpfel in the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Ralph Klüpfel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Günther Heiß was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Ralph Klüpfel took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Günther Heiß. Günther Heiß dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. FC Traktor Götz's Günther Heiß played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralph Klüpfel in the 75th minute of play. Günther Heiß took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Boedefeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Ralph Klüpfel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Günther Heiß. FC Traktor Götz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ralph Klüpfel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 84th minute Sören Humke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Günther Heiß saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SV Bad Harzburg booed when FC Traktor Götz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karsten Brandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klaus Vielhaus took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Günther Heiß. FC Traktor Götz's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 95th match minute, SV Bad Harzburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Tamm to maneuver through the defense. SV Bad Harzburg walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
