Borussia Ostermoordorf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stickleback Utd Xl the free kick. 23 minutes into the game, one of Borussia Ostermoordorf:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Samon Hellrung showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doug Kerfoot, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joachim Grebe to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Ostermoordorf's zone, Doug Kerfoot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samon Hellrung came out of the goal and Doug Kerfoot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joachim Grebe charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joachim Grebe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Stickleback Utd Xl booed when Borussia Ostermoordorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Grebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute Syd Kalischer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samon Hellrung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samon Hellrung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doug Kerfoot in the 56th minute of play. Syd Kalischer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Borussia Ostermoordorf's Samon Hellrung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Syd Kalischer in the 62nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Phillip Cohens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stickleback Utd Xl's supporters rose to their feet, but Phillip Cohens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samon Hellrung breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Stickleback Utd Xl's Stuart Atkins got a free kick in the 92nd minute. A collision led to Borussia Ostermoordorf getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Joachim Grebe hit a great ball. Despite being the better team, Stickleback Utd Xl failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
