An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Pringle in the 4th minute of play forced Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Gul Keep to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Shaun Oliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stephen Walton kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Vern Haper didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from James Tuck went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Vern Haper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Silk in the 18th minute of the match. Mattias Hunter's late challenge caught a Garlic Eaters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mattias Hunter helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Garlic Eaters booed when Mordham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Hunter didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Abraham Pringle came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Mordham FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abraham Pringle couldn't finish the play. Gul Keep showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Graeme Draper in the 26th minute of the match. Jacob Miller hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Garlic Eaters's Gul Keep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graeme Draper in the 31st minute of play. If Charlie Silk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mordham FC's Vern Haper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Silk in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Abraham Pringle notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Garlic Eaters's Gul Keep. Gul Keep was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abraham Pringle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Charlie Silk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vern Haper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Graeme Draper stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gul Keep didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Mordham FC's Abraham Pringle shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Graeme Draper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gul Keep having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Mordham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Silk came free, but Vern Haper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bob Neville charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bob Neville the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mordham FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Bob Neville hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, James Tuck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garlic Eaters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. James Tuck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Vern Haper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gul Keep came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Mordham FC's Abraham Pringle. But to his dismay, Abraham Pringle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 91st minute, Charlie Silk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vern Haper was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
