Vaino Jomm kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Johnny Burns managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético de Newell's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnny Burns was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kalle Härmi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ollie Bright could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Kalle Härmi made a huge save. 31 minutes into the match, Club Atlético de Newell's goal looked a bit too open when Olari Ainsoo came free, but Matthieu Abelard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Rymu's Kalle Härmi got control of the ball when Tristram Ellerton tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Club Atlético de Newell getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Shane Medley hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olari Ainsoo to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Rymu's Matthieu Abelard threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Olari Ainsoo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Rymu getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Antti Lember hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Olari Ainsoo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Matthieu Abelard. That made the score 0-5 in the 88 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Knight during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rymu made a substitution. Kaspar Pahasoo replaced Vello Muretu.
