The Liverpool FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markku Ruhanen should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Jacek Kielb had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Markku Ruhanen. Liverpool FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacek Kielb was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Felix Bailey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when Korona Kielce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacek Kielb didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Bailey kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Viljami Virtala scored 1-4 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doug Soussan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roope Saastamoinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doug Soussan having to interfere. Doug Soussan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimi Lindström in the 95th minute of the match. Doug Soussan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roope Saastamoinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Korona Kielce players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
