Spectators: 176 (Terracing: 133, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kris Metzon took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dietrich Heppner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thorstein Loller in the 2nd minute of the match. Dietrich Heppner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kris Metzon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4 minutes into the game, Alwin Korte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academica Pulheim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Strib Galacticos IF the free kick. Michael Paziorek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Academica Pulheim's Conny Stober sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Johannes Stenberdt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute, one of Strib Galacticos IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Strib Galacticos IF. Johannes Stenberdt had in the 13thth minute some difficulties stopping Jari Anzengruber's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Academica Pulheim's Conny Stober got a free kick in the 17th minute. Dietrich Heppner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Metzon in the 25th minute of play. Dietrich Heppner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kris Metzon's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 25thth minute of the game Kris Metzon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academica Pulheim's Dietrich Heppner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Academica Pulheim getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jari Anzengruber hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kris Metzon in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dietrich Heppner saved Academica Pulheim from getting behind. Dietrich Heppner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thorstein Loller in the 35th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kris Metzon in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dietrich Heppner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Johannes Stenberdt managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Academica Pulheim's Conny Stober fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 41 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Johannes Stenberdt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jari Anzengruber. If Michael Paziorek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th match minute, Strib Galacticos IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Wilkenfeldt to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Conny Stober made the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the game, Michael Paziorek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Johannes Stenberdt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 66 played minutes Strib Galacticos IF got a freekick which was hit by Bobbi Mejnholt. Academica Pulheim's Stefan Winitzki was substituted for Christoph Sönksen. The supporters of Academica Pulheim booed when Strib Galacticos IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bobbi Mejnholt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johannes Stenberdt came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Academica Pulheim's Noel Schaffert. But to his dismay, Noel Schaffert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 91st minute Thorstein Loller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dietrich Heppner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johannes Stenberdt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conny Stober, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Academica Pulheim's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
