The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The ASD Real Molinella 1911 fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when ASD Real Molinella 1911's Eugenio Giandomenico looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of F.C. Elbląg POLAND™ booed when ASD Real Molinella 1911 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anfilogino Gagliano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabio Di Tommaso struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Takis Tsarouhtsis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASD Real Molinella 1911. The ASD Real Molinella 1911 fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when ASD Real Molinella 1911's Eugenio Giandomenico looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Fabio Di Tommaso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Takis Tsarouhtsis was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, F.C. Elbląg POLAND™'s Kolkhis Papoulis got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 23rdth minute of the game Eugenio Giandomenico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. Elbląg POLAND™'s Takis Tsarouhtsis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When ASD Real Molinella 1911's Eugenio Giandomenico in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. Elbląg POLAND™'s goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to ASD Real Molinella 1911 getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ernesto Suriani hit a great ball. When ASD Real Molinella 1911's Fabio Di Tommaso in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. Elbląg POLAND™'s goalie prevented a goal. Adriano Peca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Takis Tsarouhtsis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Takis Tsarouhtsis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Di Tommaso in the 38th minute of the match. Adriano Peca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Takis Tsarouhtsis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Adriano Peca came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the ASD Real Molinella 1911 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Peca couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Eugenio Giandomenico managed to get in a good position for a shot. ASD Real Molinella 1911's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Giandomenico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Takis Tsarouhtsis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half ASD Real Molinella 1911 were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Adriano Peca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Troizen Rachiotis hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabio Di Tommaso in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Takis Tsarouhtsis saved F.C. Elbląg POLAND™ from getting behind. Fabio Di Tommaso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Takis Tsarouhtsis having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Fabio Di Tommaso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Takis Tsarouhtsis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 77 minutes, Fabio Di Tommaso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ASD Real Molinella 1911's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Di Tommaso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as ASD Real Molinella 1911's Eugenio Giandomenico slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Takis Tsarouhtsis. That made the score 0-5 after 80 minutes of play. 86 minutes into the match, Eugenio Giandomenico notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of F.C. Elbląg POLAND™'s Takis Tsarouhtsis. Takis Tsarouhtsis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Takis Tsarouhtsis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugenio Giandomenico's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as ASD Real Molinella 1911's Fabio Di Tommaso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Takis Tsarouhtsis. That made the score 0-7 after 91 minutes of play. ASD Real Molinella 1911's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
