The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marios Kamarinopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Pantalone in the 3rd minute of play. Antonio Vinci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Akis Romanidis in the 6th minute. In the 46thth minute of the game Corrado Federici who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Marios Kamarinopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Seggiano's Corrado Federici got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anthony Presutti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Marios Kamarinopoulos made a huge save. Seggiano's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
