The audience thought a goal was coming when Ettore Gelsomini got free with Panagiotis Vaggelis in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The CA Boca Jrs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Vassilis Roussopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
