Spectators: 176 (Terracing: 133, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonard Calleja started the match with the kick off. Aris Totenberg hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Santa Clausius took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dejan Cumbo. Dejan Cumbo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aris Totenberg got free with Dejan Cumbo in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With 19 minutes on the clock, Eraldo Marrone commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! Roderick Gordon kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Roderick Cachia Zammit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke Skywalker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luke Skywalker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Bezzina in the 31st minute of play. In the 40th minute, Anthony Sartori left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 43 minutes into the game, Seraċini Għawdxin's Roderick Cachia Zammit nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luke Skywalker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santa Clausius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match Felice Ciccarelli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dejan Cumbo skillfully saved the ball. In the 53rd minute, Santa Clausius made a precise shot to the right of Dejan Cumbo. Seraċini Għawdxin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. If Santa Clausius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anthony Sartori kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ made a substitution. Aldo Croce replaced Augusto Valletta. A collision led to ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Anthony Sartori hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Michael Cassar Overend hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Achille Amicone hit a great ball. Jacob Bezzina might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luke Skywalker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacob Bezzina ran back to his position shaking his head. Jacob Bezzina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ made a substitution. Damiano Sciarra replaced Felice Ciccarelli. Dejan Cumbo came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's Santa Clausius. But to his dismay, Santa Clausius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. 78 minutes into the match, Seraċini Għawdxin's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Croce came free, but Dejan Cumbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Seraċini Għawdxin fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! A collision led to Seraċini Għawdxin getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Raymond Rapa hit a great ball. Damiano Sciarra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dejan Cumbo. Seraċini Għawdxin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aldo Croce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Dejan Cumbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damiano Sciarra kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Dejan Cumbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Croce in the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ had won after a very even match.
