Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Celso Estrada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Filipe Ventura made a huge save. Stars Academy's Miguel Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Monteiro in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Stars Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilário lago to maneuver through the defense. Humberto Castro hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Norberto Coimbra from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Filipe Ventura's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Veríssimo Peralta charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Veríssimo Peralta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 23 minutes into the game, VB-Team's Osvaldo Vilaverde nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Carneiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Castro in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Carneiro saved Stars Academy from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Monteiro in the 34th minute of play forced Stars Academy's goalkeeper Miguel Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Humberto Castro made a precise shot to the right of Miguel Carneiro. Stars Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 42 minutes into the match, VB-Team's Osvaldo Vilaverde sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Carneiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half VB-Team were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Veríssimo Peralta made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Raul Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Castro in the 66th minute of play forced Stars Academy's goalkeeper Miguel Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Stars Academy getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Raul Faria hit a great ball. VB-Team's Filipe Ventura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Estrada in the 85th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandro Monteiro got free with Miguel Carneiro in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. VB-Team's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
