Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jairo Setúbal got the match started through his kick off. Artur Neves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuno Pais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Artur Neves sped through DPD FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nuno Pais. Luís Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Setúbal in the 14th minute of play. Jairo Setúbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Luís Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, DPD FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Pessoa to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Pais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Foden in the 29th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Viseu United's Filipe Foden sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nuno Pais narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 39 minutes, Filipe Foden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viseu United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Foden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afonso Belém hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Benedito Santana took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nuno Pais. DPD FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artur Neves made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Artur Neves notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of DPD FC's Nuno Pais. Nuno Pais was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 56 played minutes DPD FC got a freekick which was hit by João Pessoa. Nuno Pais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Artur Neves notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of DPD FC's Nuno Pais. Nuno Pais was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 63rd minute Artur Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimiro Graça hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by DPD FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benedito Santana was slow to take the kick. During this time Viseu United's players had a chance to rest. Viseu United's Benedito Santana was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nuno Pais in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 77 minutes of play, Viseu United's Artur Neves made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nuno Pais was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nuno Pais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Neves in the 80th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Artur Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Viseu United had played much better football throughout.
