Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zarando Cordoba started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Ciruel Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bahiano Gibert to maneuver through the defense. Altino Barcelos hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Carlos Ornelas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zarando Cordoba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigfrido Soldado who took care of the corner kick. Toma Ron made a great header on Ciruel Team's corner, it was just that QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Carlos Ornelas managed to reach the ball for a save. Carlos Ornelas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Crispin Klander, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Zarando Cordoba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Ornelas having to make a save. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Carlos Ornelas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zarando Cordoba in the 35th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Zarando Cordoba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Ornelas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Porfírio Cortez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Altino Barcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s zone, Estebano Vuelta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Ornelas came out of the goal and Estebano Vuelta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Carlos Ornelas got control of the ball when Zarando Cordoba tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zarando Cordoba in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Ornelas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 61 minutes, Bahiano Gibert made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Carlos Ornelas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Ornelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zarando Cordoba in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Ciruel Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Estebano Vuelta to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute Zarando Cordoba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Ornelas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Zarando Cordoba took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Carlos Ornelas to make any attempt to save it. Ciruel Team's Abarrotz Palanques was substituted for Sigfrido Soldado. Ciruel Team made a substitution. Bartolomé Sabina replaced Bahiano Gibert. Benito Cuadrado kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Benito Cuadrado hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute Porfírio Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Adalberto Bomba in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ciruel Team's goalie prevented a goal. In the 94th minute, Crispin Klander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bartolomé Sabina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Carlos Ornelas made a huge save. The Ciruel Team supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ciruel Team would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
