The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Checa Pena helped the player get up and apologised. Checa Pena hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Agapito Cabanela struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Idalécio Rego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murcia Promesas. When Murcia Promesas's Checa Pena in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye StrikerS™'s goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of StrikerS™ booed when Murcia Promesas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Erosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Murcia Promesas's Berriotxoa Jareño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Perdigão in the 13th minute of play. After 14 minutes Murcia Promesas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Flávio Perdigão who took care of the corner kick. StrikerS™'s Álvaro Pinheiro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Berriotxoa Jareño in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Durval Bulhosa fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored StrikerS™'s protests and gave Durval Bulhosa a yellow card for diving instead. Durval Bulhosa hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Checa Pena in the 25th minute of play forced StrikerS™'s goalkeeper Idalécio Rego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Checa Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Idalécio Rego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Idalécio Rego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Checa Pena in the 36th minute of the match. Idalécio Rego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agapito Cabanela, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 39th match minute, Murcia Promesas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inguma Vuelta to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute Checa Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Idalécio Rego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 played minutes StrikerS™ got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Paião. In the 46th minute, Checa Pena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flávio Perdigão to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Checa Pena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Murcia Promesas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 62ndth minute of the game Agapito Cabanela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but StrikerS™'s Idalécio Rego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute, Checa Pena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Murcia Promesas's Andolin Mendez was substituted for Agapito Cabanela. Murcia Promesas's Ganix Colsa was substituted for Haitz Soler. StrikerS™'s Idalécio Rego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Checa Pena in the 73rd minute of play. When Checa Pena came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Murcia Promesas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Checa Pena couldn't finish the play. After 81 played minutes StrikerS™ got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Fragoso. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Murcia Promesas fans cheered their team off the field, for while StrikerS™ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
