Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nesho Kozovski took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomir Kertev in the 3rd minute of play forced Poli Timisoara's goalkeeper Simon Friedmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th match minute, Poli Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Holst to maneuver through the defense. GATE's Vihar Chachev got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute Uwe Kuinke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stoyne Belyovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Poli Timisoara's Sebastian Gehlen got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 19th match minute, Poli Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torben Scherrer to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Poli Timisoara got a freekick which was hit by Robin Wörns. Justin Kulovitz's late challenge caught a GATE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justin Kulovitz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Poli Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justin Kulovitz to maneuver through the defense. Nesho Kozovski in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Simon Friedmann, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Ikonom Kyulyumov fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GATE's protests and gave Ikonom Kyulyumov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Ikonom Kyulyumov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vihar Chachev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Friedmann having to interfere. If Radomir Kertev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Justin Kulovitz made the kick off in the second half. Sven Holst's late challenge caught a GATE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven Holst helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of GATE booed when Poli Timisoara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Holst didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 52 played minutes Poli Timisoara got a freekick which was hit by Torben Scherrer. Simon Friedmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bilyan Nakov went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. GATE's Stoyne Belyovski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save GATE from getting a goal against them. Simon Friedmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nesho Kozovski in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 minutes of play Poli Timisoara's Justin Kulovitz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 63rd minute, Justin Kulovitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GATE's Tzolo Fetvadzhiev was substituted for Angel Gyumishev. After 64 played minutes Poli Timisoara got a freekick which was hit by Justin Kulovitz. In the 69th minute, Yanaki Gaydov made a precise shot to the right of Simon Friedmann. Poli Timisoara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When Vihar Chachev fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GATE's protests and gave Vihar Chachev a yellow card for diving instead. Vihar Chachev kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Ikonom Kyulyumov was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Poli Timisoara booed when GATE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ikonom Kyulyumov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in GATE's zone, Jonas Rathmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stoyne Belyovski came out of the goal and Jonas Rathmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simon Friedmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nesho Kozovski in the 81st minute of the match. If Uwe Kuinke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Tzolo Fetvadzhiev managed to get in a good position for a shot. GATE's supporters rose to their feet, but Tzolo Fetvadzhiev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Friedmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. GATE's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
