Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Lions United's Lennart Iwens started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Dutch Rebels getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Refael Standaerts hit a great ball. Gustaaf Vranckx kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Dutch Rebels's Stan Lefevere got a free kick in the 15th minute. Constant De Weyngaert's late challenge caught a Lions United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constant De Weyngaert helped the player get up and apologised. After some careless play in the Lions United defense, Yens Iansens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gillis Heirremans. The Lions United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gillis Heirremans should have stopped the shot. Geoffry Borginions fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gillis Heirremans having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Geoffry Borginions got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gillis Heirremans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yens Iansens in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, Dutch Rebels's Gustaaf Vranckx made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gillis Heirremans was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Lions United's Paul-Louis Van Caubergen got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yens Iansens to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Lions United defense, Gustaaf Vranckx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gillis Heirremans. The Lions United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gillis Heirremans should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Lions United's zone, Yens Iansens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gillis Heirremans came out of the goal and Yens Iansens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute, Gustaaf Vranckx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gillis Heirremans came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Dutch Rebels's Gustaaf Vranckx. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Vranckx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Gustaaf Vranckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gillis Heirremans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Dutch Rebels's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Iwens came free, but Adam Vermeiren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute, Dutch Rebels's Yens Iansens dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. 81 minutes into the match, Lions United's goal looked a bit too open when Yens Iansens came free, but Gillis Heirremans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dutch Rebels's Stan Lefevere got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After having played for 83 minutes, Jon Van Craesbeeck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lions United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jon Van Craesbeeck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Iwens in the 85th minute of play forced Dutch Rebels's goalkeeper Adam Vermeiren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lions United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Adolf Cappelsmans scored to the left of an out of position Gillis Heirremans, making the score, 0-6. The Lions United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dutch Rebels were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
