Michal Gacík sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaroslav Exner hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Igor Tomčo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Radek Hora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Metoděj Pýcha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute of the match Tomáš Trnovský shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Radek Hora showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Radek Hora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Gacík in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Michal Gacík got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 18 minutes, Tomáš Trnovský mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UFC Pivnica and the FK BRUSINKY players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, UFC Pivnica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomáš Trnovský to maneuver through the defense. Jan Stanovský received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Matej Dubík tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. UFC Pivnica's Matej Dubík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiří Macoun in the 25th minute of play. Matúš Šmelár hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. František Pecháček struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Matej Dubík didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK BRUSINKY. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaroslav Exner in the 35th minute of play forced UFC Pivnica's goalkeeper Matej Dubík to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st match minute, FK BRUSINKY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaroslav Exner to maneuver through the defense. Matej Dubík made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaroslav Exner in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juraj Habanec stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Juraj Habanec managed to get in a good position for a shot. UFC Pivnica's supporters rose to their feet, but Juraj Habanec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radek Hora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Igor Tomčo managed to get in a good position for a shot. UFC Pivnica's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Tomčo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radek Hora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Igor Tomčo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radek Hora having to interfere. Matej Dubík took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Stanovský, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FK BRUSINKY's zone, Igor Tomčo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radek Hora came out of the goal and Igor Tomčo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over UFC Pivnica could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FK BRUSINKY throughout the match.
